Meghan Trainor is the hottest topic in music right now. Her latest album “Title” just beat Taylor Swift’s “1989” album from a 9 week (non-consecutive) Billboard Hot 200 reign. Congratulations on that. However this article is about the “cute acoustic love” song Meghan Trainor and One Direction’s Harry Styles wrote together. Harry Styles is considered to be a talented singer-songwriter, and so is Meghan Trainor. And that is why we can’t wait to listen to this romance song. But it might never get released as a song.
Meghan Trainor Speaks about Writing “Someday Maybe” with Harry Styles
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, this is what Meghan had to say about the “Someday Maybe” composing experience with Harry Styles.
“I wrote a song with Harry. It was unbelievable. He’s a very, very talented songwriter, I was very impressed. I was worried he’d just be a 20-year-old boy so I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus. He gave me very poetic, mature lyrics, I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is.”
Sounds like Meghan is smothered by Harry Styles-musically, I mean!
Trainor, however, did not give out any more information about the song. Whether it will be released as a song, and if it does, when will it be released are information still yet to be revealed.
“Someday Maybe” is also an acoustic song. Meghan and Harry is said to have composed the song on Meghan’s ukulele.
It will be upsetting if we don’t get to hear this new song from the duo. Maybe they should perform the song together too. I’m not sure if their voices are very compatible to be on the same track, but who cares!
