Hoff just doesn’t appear in the music video. He is also the vocalist of the track. Pretty impressive huh?
Let’s talk a little bit about the reason for this song and the music video.
Most of us did not know that a Kickstarter-funded project has opened to create a short film titled “Kung Fury”. The 80s styled movie depicts an action packed adventure through time to kill Adolf Hitler. But, of course, the time machine malfunctions and the karate champion ends up in a prehistoric era.

The trailer explains a lot about the bizarre scenes we see in the “True Survivor” music video. Super cars, box shaped robots, dinosaurs, crazy female soldiers, chain guns, kung fu battles, guns, Molotov cocktails, guns, crazy Viking chicks, Norse Gods (Thor?), more guns, wolves, computer hacking, guns, fire, explosions, more guns and dinosaurs. That’s about everything you come across in the “True Survivor” music video and we are pretty excited for the actual short film.
If you want to be a part of this amazing movie you can head over to Kung Fury production log and donation page at Kickstarter and stay in touch or even contribute to the making of the movie. As of now more than 17,000 people have pledged over $630K for this project. Every $5 helps.
