Taylor Swift was honored with two awards at the 7th Annual Shorty Awards that took place on April 20, 2015. She won the Best Singer award and the award for best social media presence (fans). Taylor was not present at the award ceremony, but she released a hilarious video in acceptance of the awards. What’s more? She even rapped. Taylor Swift rapped a piece of Young Buck’s “Love Machine”, and Bill Nye the Science Guy danced to it.

When I was first told the news that I’d won a Shorty Award I was conflicted, because I’m very tall. I did not understand what the honor was for. Now I understand it’s because you guys have been unbelievable on social media, and I’m really happy about that. My second thought, just for the record, was [rapping] ‘shorty wanna ride wit me, ride wit me, we can get low.
And she realized she was rapping in public and forced to contain herself. LOL.
