Calvin Harris has premiered the new music video for yet another hit “Rollin” and this time he meant what he says. The music video is entirely of an old classic car moving in a deserted freeway. Surprisingly enough, it is not tiring to watch the entire 4 minute and 30 seconds either.
“Rollin” appears in Calvin’s ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1’ released on June 30, 2017. The song features vocals by Future and Khalid.
There is something peaceful and artistic about that car, the deserted road and the scenery. So kudos for whoever came up with the concept for the video.
The chorus of the song is very catchy and is performed by Khalid.
I’ve been rollin’ on the freeway
I’ve been riding 85
I been thinking way too much
And I’m way too gone to drive
I got anger in my chest
I got millions on my mind
And you didn’t fit the picture
So I guess you weren’t the vibe

Overall meaning of the song is about the rich life, how they are ‘rollin’ in their bling and cars and accessories. Future brings in his fancy lifestyle by mentioning the Gucci pants embroided ‘LOVED’ that usually sell for thousands of dollars.
Got L-O-V-E on my right leg, that’s Gucci (get what I’m sayin’?)
Future’s Rolls Royce is referred to as a ‘double R.’
I was in the double R when I rolled up (when I rolled up)
‘CREAM’ is an acronym created by the Wu-Tang Clan in 1990’s. It stands for ‘Cash Rules Everything Around Me.’
I’ll shatter your dreams with this cream I make (cream I make)
In a nutshell, we can agree that “Rollin” by Calvin Harris featuring Khalid and Future is an instant hit, should it be released as a single. The lyrics are quite good and the tune is as catchy as it gets.
We love this song and the music video and would love to hear your opinion on this as well. Leave a comment below.
