6ix9ine Premiers “STOOPID” Music Video with Bobby Shmurda (Lyrics Review)

6ix9ine returns after “FEFE” and “BEBE” to bring you “Stoopid” with Bobby Shmurda. “Stoopid” is how one could pronounce the word ‘stupid’ rather than spell it. Tekashi’s most song titles have been quite creative in a different way. Bobby Shmurda, who is currently imprisoned, makes a cameo in the music video released along with the single on October 5th.

This is Tekashi 6ix9ine’s first collaboration with the producer Tay Keith. You can hear his famous tag in the intro of the song. Tay Keith has previously with hitmakers such as Travis Scott, Eminem, and Drake.

In the new song “Stoopid,” 6ix9ine talks about his life,–Henesey lifestyle and affiliations with street gangs. The song has a very catchy beat and a hook.

This track marks the 8th single by Tekashi for 2018. However, the song is not linked to an album.

Tekashi also talks about the hip-hop tradition where a deceased artist/friend is cremated and the ash is rolled up in a blunt and smoked by his crew/loved ones.

Here 6ix9ine talks about Chief Keef’s cousin who got shot multiple times on April 4, 2014. Tekashi has an ongoing feud with Chief Keef who is mentioned multiple times in the song.

In a latter line 6ix9ine talks about a person who was big in 2012, and questions what happened to him since. Chief Keef had his biggest hist “Love Sosa” in 2012 at the age of 16-typical age of high school students.

6ix9ine also calls out radio host Ebro Darden on “Stoopid.” The feud between them started when 6ix9ine was denied entry to the annual hip-hop festival ‘Summer Jam’ this year.

Later 6ix9ine shouts out to the members of the Brooklyn gang ‘GS9’ who are currently convicted. These include Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel and Cueno. Shmurda and Rowdy are sentenced to 6-7 years in prison whereas Cueno is prisoned for 117-130 years.

Tekashi also does not forget to shout out to Sex Money Murda (SMM) gang several times in the song. Although there are no known ties of 6ix9ine to this group, GS9 is closely linked to SMM.
