Marshmello released his latest production “Together” without any vocals on it. Returning from his massive hit “Happier” featuring Bastille, to “Check This Out” which consisted of only one lyric, the latest single has no lyrics at all. However, the video gives an important message to everybody around the world. Most likely different races can relate to this video so well as evident by the track going viral on YouTube.
“Together” track appears in Marshmello’s second studio album ‘Joytime II’ released in June 2018. The album reached #1 on ‘US Top Dance/Electronic Albums’ chart by Billboard. However, the critical reception of the album was quite poor with Pitchfork rating the album 4.2/10 and Rolling Stone rating it 1.5/5 stars.
Releasing the video, Marshmello wanted to give out an important message to the world;
“Together music video is live! This is a reminder that despite our different cultures and backgrounds, we’re all the same ❤️””

The video, directed by Toby Wosskow, shows Marshmello feeling down without knowing his ancestral roots at the school ‘Cultural Heritage Presentations.’ However, other multi-cultured children in the school invite Marshmello to their Thanksgiving dinners. There Marshmello learns that no matter where anyone comes from or who they are, we are all equal and can put aside any differences and enjoy a meal together. Later-on, Marshmello Mom and Marshmello Dad teach the son of their ancestral history with a picture scrapbook. It’s all comfy-cosy feelings all throughout the music video.
