The Chainsmokers Drop “Who Do You Love” with 5 Seconds of Summer (Lyrics Review and Song Meaning)

The Chainsmokers have released their first single from the upcoming album project. The new single “Who Do You Love” taps in 5 Seconds of Summer on the vocals. This new music follows the band’s 2018 second studio album ‘Sick Boy.’ The new song is one of the catchiest tracks we have seen from Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall duo.

The Chainsmokers have made a name for themselves in the Electro music with massive hits such as “Closer,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” “All We Know” and “Something Just Like This” featuring Coldplay.

Teasing the upcoming music, The Chainsmokers posted on their Instagram about the band’s story so far;

3 years ago today we released Dont Let Me Down! This was our first time playing it in NYC on New Years and this is the exact moment we realized we had something special! This song changed the entire way we approach music and our lives! This Thursday we got another song coming that might do the exact same!

The 5SOS group is heard performing some energetic vocals while The Chainsmokers duo drop some relatively new beats over this track.

“Who Do You Love” seems to be speaking about a relationship of doubt. This time, for a change, its the guys who have the trust issues. They notice how she has cigarettes in her purse, when she does not smoke. They notice how she changes her phone security codes frequently. Not to mention that she can’t even look them in their eyes when she is questioned. All tell-tale signs of keeping a secret. And secrets are NOT good in a relationship. So the guys have to resort to ask the heartaching question: the song title.
