Ed Sheeran Teases New Song “Cross Me” with Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock

Days after Ed Sheeran dropped his surprise collaboration with Justin Bieber titled “I Don’t Care,” the Brit is ready to release another brand new song. And this time, it comes with another special collaboration.

Ed Sheeran went on Instagram live today to drop some hints that led to unraveling the news of the upcoming single. Ed Sheeran was wearing Chance The Rapper’s signature red “3” cap and also left an emoji comment “P+🐝🤟🏻🤟🏻.” He also left a caption saying “Friday.”

Put all of these hints together, and we smell new music being cooked. Chance The Rapper’s cap could only mean that there is some music related affiliation with the rapper. Ed’s emoji-fied message unravels PnB Rock, which also means that the new song will be a three-way collaboration.

Ed Sheeran also revealed the title of the song to be “Cross Me” and released the song cover art with crossed off names of the fellow collaborators.

New music back-to-back could be a strong indication that Ed Sheeran is prepping towards releasing his next studio album. If so, this will be the Ginger’s fourth studio album, after ‘+’ (2011), ‘×’ (2014), and ‘÷’ (2017). If this mathematical sequence is to continue, his next studio album will be titled ‘-‘ AKA ‘Substract’ or ‘Minus.’

We will get to know more details about Ed Sheeran’s upcoming studio album in the days to come. Stay tuned and let us know your expectations for “Cross Me” collab with Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock.

“Cross Me” will release on Friday, March 24, 2019.
