Taylor Swift and cats have had a longstanding relationship of absolute adoration and love, as witnessed by her usual Instagram posts on her three beloved cats Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Buttons. So, her appearance in this animated movie ‘Cats’ comes as little surprise.
Not only Taylor Swift, but another star-studded cast also makes an appearance in this movie in the form of human-sized cats. Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, James Corde, Jennifer Hudson, Jason Derulo and more celebrities make an appearance in this movie.

IMDb gives the plot to the movie as; “A tribe of cats called the Jellicles must decide yearly which one will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new Jellicle life.”
The movie comes out on December 20, 2019, in lieu of the holiday season.
