“I Think He Knows” is the sixth track on the seventh studio album ‘Lover’ by Taylor Swift.
The much-anticipated 2019 album ‘Lover’ contains 18 tracks on the standard edition including three singles “ME!” featuring Brendon Urie, “You Need to Calm Down” and the title track “Lover.” The new album is in complete contrast to Taylor’s previous album ‘Reputation’ released in 2017, which focused on speaking out her mind against her haters. In this era, however, Taylor Swift is in love, and that reflects throughout the album.
In “I Think He Knows,” Taylor sings about crushing on a guy so hard that it has become obvious for the guy that she likes him too. Listen to the song below.

This song spells out how Taylor Swift is madly crushing over a guy she is pretty much obsessed with. Taylor feels like she is 17 again, which is the age where you start falling in love with the picture-perfect guy. She follows his footsteps, she drools over him, she smiles at his actions, and her reactions have become a dead giveaway of her feelings to the guy. Hence, the title of the song “I Think He Knows.”
In the pre-chorus of the song, the lyrics read “He’s so obsessed with me and, boy, I understand…” This makes the playing field even and non-stalkerish.
In the second verse, Taylor reveals her long-term plans with this man. She hints at him to lock the prize down or she will not wait long for him. Is Taylor sending a hint at Joe Alwyn?
