Faouzia Debuts a Powerful “You Don’t Even Know Me” Video

The Moroccan native and Canadian raised singer Faouzia Ouihya is making strides with her brand new single “You Don’t Even Know Me” also accompanied by a music video. However, this is not the first single of Faouzia for 2019. Earlier this year, she premiered two other singles titled “Exothermic” and “Born Without a Heart.”

Upon releasing the new single, Faouzia spoke about what this song tried to convey; “Keep being yourself because no matter what you do, people will have false perceptions of you.” In another series of Tweets, Faouzia explained the inspiration and message behind the new song.

i hope that everyone that listens to YDEKM truly knows that what other say/think about you does NOT matter. you could be sitting in a corner just breathing away and ppl will still have something to say about you… so be kind, be happy and, as cheesy as it sounds, be yourself.

“You Don’t Even Know Me” is a powerful pop track on being true to yourself no matter what is thrown at you. Nobody knows the real you and what you have been through, except you. So, don’t let anyone tell you what you should be doing. Only you have the right and the power to make decisions about your life.

The smudged out faces surrounding the artist in the music video tells us that even we cannot judge others based on their looks. Nobody simply knows what anyone else is going through. So, be kind.
