Justin Bieber could be on the verge of releasing a new album, but this snippet is not part of it. Justin Bieber previewed his own rework of 50 Cent’s hit track “Many Men (Wish Death)” from the studio yesterday. However, JB quickly followed up to ease the anticipation by sharing the snippet was “not album stuff.”
There has been built up anticipation of a new album by Justin Bieber ever since he teased such news on his surprise appearance during Ariana Grande’s set at Coachella 2019. Although he has released collaborative works with artists such as Dan + Shay, Billie Eilish, Chris Brown and Gucci Mane, there have been no solo works. Justin’s October Tweet on “something very special in the studio” did not help with this game of anticipation either.
Justin Bieber teased the remix of “Many Men (Wish Death)” on his Instagram Live feed on October 25, 2019. The several part snippet showed Justin Bieber in his studio with wifey Hailey Baldwin by his side, both headbanging to the remix. In the snippet Justin Bieber is heard dropping an entirely new rap verse and a copy of the chorus from the original track.
In the snippet, we hear Justin Bieber praising his wife Hailey Baldwin and also talking about taking medication for depression;
My wife, yeah, I put her on a pedestal
My life is like the movie The Incredibles
They put me on some medicine
Never thought that my depression would depend on it
I been sendin’ it
Goin’ hard, runnin’ on adrenaline
Been a victim of the system, I’m a Christian with a vision
I’m a gentleman
“Many Men (Wish Death) ” by 50 Cent comes from the rapper’s debut studio album ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’ released in February 2003.
