MTV EMAs 2019 was held in Seville, Spain on November 3rd and was filled with some spectacular live performances. Dua Lipa, Mabel, Becky G, Akon, Ava Max and more performed on stage last night. Halsey went on to perform one of her latest singles “Graveyard” in a vibrant backdrop and with an acrobatic choreography.
Halsey’s act on MTV EMAs 2019 included a floral backdrop that also resembled an abandoned graveyard overrun with flora and fauna. The twist of the performance was the white horse statue in the middle of all of it. Mid-act Halsey gets on this horse and the horse carries Halsey up!
The act comes to an electrifying ending with fire erupting all around Halsey, the horse and the graveyard. Somehow, it is the perfect mixture of backdrops to resemble the emotional torture explained in the lyrics of the song. Watch the full performance below.
Halsey also managed to win two awards ‘Best Pop’ artist and ‘Best Look’ at the awards show.
This is not Halsey’s first live performance of “Graveyard.” Just weeks back she appeared on The Ellen Show and put on a dramatic rendition of the song. Not long ago, Halsey was also invited to perform the song on Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty fashion show.
