Madonna took to social media to announce the upcoming remix of Dua Lipa’s hit track “Levitating.” The remix will also feature vocals by Missy Elliott. The song is expected to release on August 14, 2020.
The teaser poster also includes Gwen Stefani and Mark Ronson on it.
“Levitating” is a track from Dua Lipa’s March 2020 album ‘Future Nostalgia.’
Dua Lipa talked about getting Madonna and Missi Elliott, both legendary artists, on her track in an interview with Ash London Live.

Missy Elliott talked about her participation in the song; “I am humbly grateful that Dua asked me to be a part of this record because I am a fan of her work, and I love the whole 80’s vibes that her music gives. When her team sent the track, I was like ‘ooooh this is fire!’ and I immediately recorded my verse. She heard it and loved it and here we are!”
Madonna had a rather more profound comment towards the remix; “It was like a million air horns going off in my own head when I got the pieces. Even the idea of it, the first thing I said was, I was like, ‘If this is a possibility, I cannot stress enough how much I want to do this.’ I was like, ‘Don’t let anyone else have it. Me. It’s me. This is what I want to do. And then I got the part and Dua’s voice is so beautiful.”
