“Fallin'” Lyrics Meaning and Song Review

Verse 1

In the firs verse of the song, Jonah sings of the trance state he feels when he is with this girl. The whole world around him seems to freeze, and its only him and her. He admits that the future is always filled with uncertainities. But he is not about to give up now.

Pre-chorus

Daniel Seavey does not hesitate to call her his ‘muse.’ He also admits that he is reckless falling in with this girl.

Chorus

In the chorus of the song, Zach Herron sings how he is not afraid or even second-guessing to start something long-term with this girl. He wishes that they could just keep on falling in love with each other forever.

Verse 2

The second verse by Corbyn Besson tells how deep this love feels for him. He feels it in his bones, and we know that’s as deep as it goes! A ‘storm to weather’ indicates that there are some troubled times ahead. But this type of love shall conquer all, or we hope!

It would, indeed, be nice to just keep on falling in love with someone over just falling in love once. Maybe it is possible, with the right person.
