Here's Why Taylor Swfit Will Not Be Performing at Grammy 2015

We got to here about the performances on the Grammy 2015 night in two occasions. Some of the biggest artists-old and new- will be taking the stage on the Grammy night and as days grow closer to the event, Swifties had only one question. Will Taylor Swift perform at the 57th Grammy Awards?

So putting aside all speculations and hopes, Taylor Swift today confirmed that she will not be performing at the Grammy Awards this year courtesy of her upcoming hectic schedule. What schedule? The 1989 World Tour of course!

There is a LOT of planning and scheduling and rehearsing going into a world tour-that mere spectators cannot even begin to imagine. Only Taylor Swift knows the full extent of the preparations that need to be done in order to ensure a smooth concert around the world.

A lot of you have been asking about the Grammys this week and I just wanted to give you an update. I’m really excited to be nominated for 3 Grammys this year and even more excited that I’ll be there having a dance party/rage fest in the audience. I will also be presenting the award for Best New Artist. Since my whole life is wrapped up and entangled in the planning of The 1989 World Tour right now, I’m not going to be performing on the Grammys this year. I need this time to focus only on the tour.
I hope I’ll see you out there at one of the stadiums this summer having a rage fest of your own!

This is what Taylor Swift’s Tumblr said today.

Taylor Swift will be joining the award ceremony on the 8th of February, and also will be presenting the award for Best New Artist (see all Grammy nominations). And best of all Taylor Swift will be bringing her kickass dance moves in a ‘rage fest’ to the Grammy 2015 night.

Lastly Taylor invites her fans to her concerts to have a rage fest of their own. Even HAIM is joining The 1989 World Tour in select locations.
