Grammy’s is probably the biggest and the grandest stage of music celebration ever to fall on every year. Every year many artists grab those golden ‘sippy cups’ for the best contributions to the field of music in so many different ways. Keeping aside the winning part, being nominated for a Grammy Award is still a dream come true. So few has made into the Grammy Nominations list and for some artists it has become a casual thing.
Grammy Nominations for 2016 Grammy Awards was announced last night by Alicia Keys and the list looks very impressive. So many mainstream and upcoming artists have made it into the list. We are delighted to see some of the biggest artists in the industry as well as some new faces in the 2016 Grammy Nominations list.

Kendrick Lamar is the leading artist with the most Grammy Nominations this year. The ‘To Pimp A Butterfly‘ star managed to be nominated for 11 nominations. Taylor Swift and The Weeknd secured the second highest nominations with 7 to each of their names. It is going to be a tight fight this year.
Kendrick Lamar’s epic musical and lyrical composition in ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ obviously helped him secure a dozen nominations. He is most likely grab ‘Best Rap Album’ category at 58th Grammy Awards, even though there is severe competition from J. Cole (‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’), Drake (‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’) and ‘The Pinkprint by Nicki Minaj.
Taylor Swift’s record breaking album ‘1989’ is still giving Taylor a plenty of opportunities to grab some more awards. Taylor Swift’s hit single “Blank Space” is nominated for three Grammy awards in Record of The Year, Song of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Although there is high competition in every category as usual, Taylor Swift will secure some Grammy awards as usual.
Song of The Year is likely one of the most watched categories at every Grammy events because it is awarded to the best songwriters. 2016 Grammy Nominations has some amazing songs including “Alright,” Kendrick Duckworth along with Mark Anthony Spears and Pharrell Williams; “Blank Space,” by Max Martin, Shellback and Taylor Swift; “Girl Crush,” by Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Liz Rose; “See You Again,” by Andrew Cedar, Justin Franks, Charles Puth and Cameron Thomaz and “Thinking Out Loud,” by Ed Sheeran and Amy Wadge.It’s gonna be a win no matter who wins this category.
