Selena Gomez blessed us with a much anticipated collaboration with Marshmello, titled “Wolves” and the song has been doing well on charts. The song has an upbeat tempo with some catchy lyrics and hence the popularity caught up. In the song, Selena Gomez speaks about her lover and what she had to endure to get to him.
In an interview with Zane Lowe, Selena Gomez commented on the inspiration behind this song.
“This was a song that I heard in Japan for the first time, and I was talking to Andrew Watt who is one of the writers I worked with for years, and he actually just played me a rough version and I thought it was really beautiful, and he sent it to Marshmello and created a really cool tone and a story with it, and the song is very beautiful and personal and the lyrics just have a whole story of its own. Weirdly, at the same time I was working on it in Japan, I was going through stuff, too, so it’s mirrored everything.”

Today, Selena announced that the official music video for “Wolves” will be premiered at the American Music Awards 2017.

The teased clip seems to bring back the sultry Selena Gomez who was premiered through the “Bad Liar” and “Fetish” music videos.
