Today, she released another single from her debut studio album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ that was released on April 6, 2018. The new single and music video for “I Like It” has Cardi B, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin talking about their expensive tastes to match their hip-hop status.
“I Like It” is a mixture of English and Latin, the latter performed by Peurto Rican rapper Bad Bunny. The “I like it like that” part of this track has been sampled from Pete Rodriguez’s 2967 hit “I Like It Like That.” You can check out this track at the end of the article.

The music video shows Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin performing the song in what seems like a Latin American country. The video has several dancers of African/Latin descent who dance away to the hot beat of the track.

She talks about signing her million-dollar record deal with Atlantic records, which she likes. Balenciaga is a shoe manufacturer with a sneaker shoe that looks like a sock, which Cardi B likes. She likes diamonds it seems, and she has them in her watches as well.
The origin of her nick-name “Cardi Bardi” was explained by her some years back:
“My sister’s name is Hennessy, so everybody used to call me Bacardi. And then it was my Instagram name, like “Bacardi,” “Bacardi B” but for some reason, my Instagram kept getting deleted and I think it was Bacardi that had something to do with it, so I just shortened it to Cardi B.”
