Selena Gomez joins the 2018 music rumble with a brand new single “Back To You” from the official soundtrack for ’13 Reasons Why’ Season 2. The soundtrack consists of 20 songs from various artists, most of which are not released as of yet. “Back To You” single released today, came out with a lyric video of its own, with some flashbacks to several scenes from upcoming TV season. Needless to say, they are all filled with romance.
Selena Gomez is not new to ’13 Reasons Why,’ as she contributed a single “Only You” for the first season of the romantic TV series.
“Back To You” is a song about reeling back in a relationship. Despite the song being written by several artist including Selena Gomez, fans have predicted this song is about her feelings for Justin Bieber. This deduction can be justified as Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been a on again-off again thing for several years.

“Back To You” song speaks about how the girl wishes she could do everything all over again with a past love. Selena speaks about the intensities she felt when she was with her-the butterflies and stomach crawls. She is trying so hard to get past all of it, but finds her craving and reeling back to those memories and experiences.
Let a couple years water down how I’m feeling about you
For the longest time, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were a publicized thing and as the boy grew to become a man with an attitude and a model following, things started falling apart. Breakup rumors flew and the couple was not seen together. Then they were seen together and then again back to nothing. In between all of this The Weeknd and Selena Gomez was a thing that happened for a while.
The chorus of the song has Selena Gomez weeping about how she cannot stop thinking about him even when she is with another man. Maybe, the relationship with The Weeknd failed because of this!
Verse 2 speaks about how it is not going to be a thing of permanence. Their relationship is built to fail. They have tried so many times and the same things keep pulling them apart. So she needs closure, which seems to be very difficult to achieve.
We love the brand new track “Back To You” by Selena Gomez which has us and the fan base debating over who she is singing the song about. If she did mean the song about a person, there is obviously one person that meets these traits.
