The three-day event of Governors Ball 2018 was action packed and the last stretch of the event was spearheaded by none other than the Rap God himself. Despite the adverse weather, which even affected the Reputation Tour in Chicago, the Governors Ball ended in a blast.
Eminem has been jumping concerts for the most part of 2018, starting with Coachella in April, Boston Calling in May and now Governors Ball in June. To the much delight of the attendees, Em performed some of his most iconic tracks, as well as newest tracks such as “Chloraseptic”, live on the concert. He was also joined by some of his Shady Records members to spice things up.
Eminem did not forget to add a little fire to the already flaming rumors of a relationship between him and Nicki Minaj.
“Nicki! Let’s do this! I’m gonna tell you something about Nicki that she don’t even know: We go together.”
And the Stans went wild. Watch below the clip.
Eminem was joined by his hype-man Mr. Porter for most of the performances from the night.
Below is a clip of Eminem performing his classic tracks “My Name Is,” “The Real Slim Shady” and “Without Me,” while the rain poured down.

It was a difficult task to live up to the hype created by other headlining artists such as Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Travis Scott, Pusha T, Halsey, Khalid and more. But if not Eminem for the task, who else?
It is very fortunate to see Eminem back in business with the same passion and energy he held a decade ago. This gives us better hopes for more epic music in the years to come.
