“River” has been one of our favorite picks from the post-modern Eminem era. The song has a nice meaning, flow and of course, vocals by Ed Sheeran. This was an unlikely collaboration, but it worked for the best. Eminem’s ‘Revival’ Tour is marching through all of Europe and the London stop, a few nights ago, was extra special.
Eminem’s ‘Revival’ tour has had some record-breaking stops in Europe and artists such as 50 Cent, Skylar Grey, 2 Chainz and Royce da 5’9″. With these special guests, Eminem rolled out his classics from ‘The Eminem Show,’ ‘The MMLP 2,’ ‘Relapse’ and ‘Revival.’ One song that was left out of the setlist so far was “River” and the London crowd bore witness to this amazing performance.
This is the first time Eminem has performed “River” with Ed Sheeran live. The show happened at the Twickenham Stadium in London, the UK on July 15th.

This live collaboration came as a surprise to the fans and hence the thrill among the crowd is quite visible.
Ed Sheeran appeared with his usual acoustic guitar and assisted Eminem with the chorus of the song. Ed Sheeran has mentioned that Eminem has been one of his biggest musical inspirations growing up.
Two shows back-to-back in London marks the end of the ‘Revival’ tour as scheduled. An estimated total of 724,000 tickets was sold in the entire tour which had 8 stops including 2 nights in London. There is no official news as to if the ‘Revival’ tour is headed to the US yet.
