Nicki Minaj Drops “Bust Down Barbiana” Remix Over Blueface’s “Thotiana” Beat: Listen

Nicki Minaj has released her latest remix and there is some juicy news involved around this. The barbie-personified rapper released “Bust Down Barbiana” remix over the beat of Blueface’s breakout hit “Thotiana” in February 2018. What is more interesting is that Blueface had teased a remix of “Thotiana“ with Nicki’s industry rival Cardi B. Did Nicki jump on the band wagon first as a slap back to Cardi?

In the new remix “Bust Down Barbiana” we hear the rapper going on about the success stories of her career. Nicki seems to be shouting out to Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” in this remix. Ariana Grande went on Twitter to say that “there will never be anything but love between us, ever” after snarky rumours about this mention started coming out.

A much nicer change of pace was hearing “Bop a dot dot, bop a dot dot doh,” a sample from Nicki’s 2010 breakout hit “Your Love.” The next line is a quick follow-up by saying she has been at the top ever since!

Nicki Minaj is seemingly addressing her competition, calling them “sloppyana,” “copiana,” “tacky-ana” and “jellyana,” all of which do not mean good things besides the wordsmith skills.

Just last week, Nicki Minaj released two more remixes “Barbie Goin Bad” and “Barbie Drip” both of them dedicated to establishing her queen status. The former track is a sample from Nicki’s ex-boyfriend Meek Mill’s “Going Bad” track. Nicki also teased that her fifth studio album is quite done in the new episode of ‘Queen Radio’ last week.

Looks like more new music is on the way by Nicki in 2019 and we are oh so ready!
