Ariana Grande’s latest friendship anthem “7 Rings” made some heavy waves in the industry. Returning from her breakup anthem “thank u, next” from 2018, Ari is now on about her friends and the music video showed us a crazy house party. We could only imagine the fun stuff that went down in the process of recording such a music video. Now we don’t have to imagine anymore, here is the behind the scenes clip for making of “7 Rings” music video.
In this 10-minute long behind the scenes clip, we get a first-hand look at how a music video of this calibre is being put together. Ariana Grande and her 6 other ring bearers make an appearance in the BTS clip and talk about the experience as well.
One of the best moments from this BTS clip is that we get to see the 8th inductee to Ariana’s rings club. The “7 Rings” music video director-Hannah Lux Davis is presented with a similar diamond ring to the 7 in this video. Ari offers her the diamond ring and officially welcomes her to the now ‘8 rings’ club.
Everybody seems to be having a “sh*t ton of fun” in the making of this music video. There are laughs and chit chat heard from every corner of the house-dimmed in red and purple light. However, it is not always about fun. The music video has to be made to the vision of Ari and the director as well. We also see several scenes where Hannah instructs the scene to be shot again. We also see Ari enduring painful poses to ensure the essence of the creative vision of the music video.
