Artists Performing Live at 2019 Grammy Awards: Dolly Parton, Cardi B, Katy Perry and More

The 2019 Grammy Awards ceremony is drawing closer and besides the awards themselves, the next big thing is the live performances. This year’s announced performers are perfectly balanced between musical legends and newest breakout stars.

One of the main highlights from the 61st Annual Grammy Awards is a special tribute to the 8-time Grammy winning legend Dolly Parton. Not only will she get a tribute by a collaborative performance from Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, and Katy Perry, but Dolly Parton herself will be performing at the show. Parton will perform a new song from her latest album ‘Dumplin’.’ Further, she is to be recognized as ‘2019 MusiCares Person of the Year’ for her service to music through initiatives such as Dollywood Foundation.

The opening act of the 2019 Grammy Awards is promised to be yet another spectacle. J Balvin, Young Thug, Ricky Martin, Arturo Sandoval are to join Camila Cabello for a stunning collaboration. The song/s are not revealed yet.

Other acts announced to perform at the Grammy Awards 2019 are Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, Dan + Shay, H.E.R., Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Diana Ross. All of these are expected to be solo performances of their hottest hits.

If these acts are not enough, the entire Grammy night will be hosted by the legendary Alicia Keys. She is no stranger to the Grammy stage with 15 Grammy wins including award categories such as ‘Best New Artist,’ ‘Record of the Year,’ ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Album of the Year.’

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards is scheduled to take place at the Staples Center, Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. Catch the live action on CBS.
