BTS Announces New Album ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’ and Release Date

The K-Pop sensation Beyond The Scene AKA BTS is ready to embark on a new journey in 2019. After their highly successful ‘Love Yourself’ album trilogy, the group is looking to release a new album titled ‘Map of the Soul: Persona.’

The group used their Twitter profile to announce this new release in a very formal way. The group Tweeted “[공지] #BTS MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA 발매 안내 (+ENG/JPN/CHN)” and added a link to their fan army website. This Tweet roughly translates to “Notice: MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA release information.”

The fan website shows that the album will be released on April 12, 2019; exactly one month from today. Better news is the album pre-orders will be up from March 13th.

There is no further information available regarding BTS’s 7th studio album just yet. But within this short period until release, we can expect several singles and music videos.

BTS is currently on tour in their ‘Love Yourself’ tour. In March 2019, BTS will be touring in Hong Kong, and in April in Thailand to all sold-out shows.

Next, BTS will move to their world tour ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself.’ Within this leg of the tour, BTS will tour USA, Brazil, UK, France and Japan. Check out dates, venues and ticket information on Ticketmaster.
