DJ Khaled released his eleventh studio album ‘Father of Asahd’ inspired by his son’s name–Asahd. The album is full of many high-profile features such as Cardi B, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Big Sean, Cee Lo Green, SZA, Chris Brown, Nipsey Hussle, John Legend, Justin Bieber and more. One stand out track on the album is “Celebrate” featuring Post Malone and Travis Scott.
‘Father of Asahd’ album was premiered on May 17, 2019, and came out with several music videos as well. We already talked about “Wish Wish” music video featuring Cardi B and Travis Scott. More to come are “Jealous,” “Higher,” “Just Us,” “Holy Mountain” and more.
In “Celebrate,” directed by the infamous music video guru Joseph Khan, the camera rolls through a club setting and a crooner being chased by armed forces. The scenes unfold in pictures of action. Needless to say every shot looks picturesque and electric.
The song is about the celebration of life and the grind that made them who they are today. The lyrics encourage you to be the best version of yourself to achieve greatness. It’s a celebration of love!

This is also Post Malone and Travis Scott’s first time collaborating and also Post’s first collab with DJ Khaled. “Celebrate” sounds like a blissful vocal harmonization between all these artists.
