“On a Roll” is a song performed by Ashley O, a character appearing in the popular TV series ‘Black Mirror’ on Netflix. The character is played by singer Miley Cyrus and she makes an appearance in this dance-tastic and eerie music video.
The upcoming 5th season of Black Mirror will include a cast such as Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott and more. The song “On a Roll” is set to be the soundtrack of the series finale episode released on June 5 on Netflix.
The music video, directed by Anne Sewitsky, is a dance anthem. Miley Cyrus is aided by a handful of female dancers. That is until the video draws to the end. The latter part of the video is graphically edited to feature in the classis ‘shattered glass’ effect from Black Mirror artworks. No sooner a creepy ghostly lady appears and disappears in the screen!
