“Second Emotion” is the seventh track off of Justin Bieber’s fifth studio album ‘Changes.’ The song is a question for Bieber’s partner asking if she feels the same emotions of love and affection he feels towards her. He asks her to second (verify) the emotions he feels towards her. This track features vocals by Travis Scott.

Changes‘ is Justin Bieber’s fifth studio album released on February 14, 2020. This album is full of love as is a reflection of his married life to model Hailey Baldwin. The album had three singles, “Yummy” released in December 2019, “Get Me” released in January 2020, and “Intentions” released in February 2020. In the trailer for the upcoming documentary about his life, Justin Bieber spoke about the upcoming album; “I feel like this album is different from the previous ones just because of where I am at in my life.”

Justin Bieber describes her beauty that has him vexed to her. So many movies around but she is the main feature in his life. His hands reach out and all they want is to grab her close to him.

The lyric “Where you posted up?” means JB is asking her for her address so he can visit her. He confesses that he is “infatuated” with her looks.

Bridge

In the bridge of the song, Justin Bieber lays out a few more emotions that he wishes to be seconded by his partner. He is feeling giddy and lit, and she has the key to his heart’s city. He wonders if she feels the same way.

Verse 2

Travis Scott gets on the track with Justin Bieber in the second verse. He namedrops the luxurious hotel chain Ritz-Carlton to say that he has room in his heart for her like the hotel chain does.

Verse 3

On the third verse by Justin Bieber, the singer asks if he has got enough of her attention now. He suggests that they get to know each other even better by asking questions about them.
