Not a day after Khalid unveiled his collaboration “Hurts 2B Human” single by P!nk, the R&B star appeared on a coveted stage to perform some of his biggest hits.
The Time 100 event held last night in New York City had a flock of amazing personalities who were being recognized as Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people of the world for 2019. This year’s nominees included some big names such as
Michelle Obama, Spike Lee, Imran Khan, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed, Pope Francis, Donald Trump, Rami Malek, Taylor Swift, Dwayne Johnson, Emilia Clarke, Ariana Grande, Ozuna and more. Khalid himself was an honourable nominee for this year and hence he got an invitation to perform live.
Khalid brought his A-game in delivering stunning renditions of his biggest hits “Location,” “Talk,” and “Young, Dumb & Broke” live at the Time 100 Gala held on April 23rd.

Khalid talked about the unexpected honour that befell him with this Time 100 nomination. “Oh my god, it means the world,” answered Khalid at the red carpet. “This isn’t even anything that I would have ever expected to happen, so the fact that it happened, is a pleasant surprise,” continued Khalid.
Khalid also made acquaintance with Taylor Swift last night, who performed an acoustic set of “Delicate,” “Love Story,” “New Year’s Day,” and “Shake It Off.”
Among the 100 honorees and many artists in attendance, it is no surprising that Khalid and Taylor Swift stole the night.
