Lil Uzi Vert drops a brand new song just after releasing his 2020 album ‘Eternal Atake’ just two months ago. The new single, titled “Sasuke,” seems to be an ode to the character of Sasuke Uchiha in the popular anime series Naruto.
The new song also releases amidst the cold war between Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti, who were frequent collaborators before. Lil Uzi Vert has been teasing the song title in several Tweets leading up to the release date. Uzi also announced ‘Sasuke’ as yet another of his alter-egos following ‘Baby Pluto,’ introduced from the ‘Eternal Atake’ album.
“Sasuke” touches on the topics of girls, money, and weapons, while also shouting out to the Naruto series.

In the lyrics of the track, Uzi talks about ‘chopping’ this girl like Sasuke does with his sword. This is not a death threat though, but rather a sexual flavor. But he also tells us that he has no attachments to these women; “my latest is your top b*tch.”
There are many references to the rapper’s luxury lifestyle; Audi R8, Givenchy fashion brand, Gaultier fashion brand, and Bentley cars.
Lil Uzi Vert also mentions the Coronavirus COVID-19 ever so subtly; “Cancel all my shows so I just started on some stock sh*t.” The stock market has seen an all-time low crash due to the pandemic’s effects on the economy all around the world. As the stock prices have crashed to their lowest levels right now, it would be a good time to invest some money and see the stock prices rise after the pandemic scare is over. All outdoor concerts have been postponed indefinitely due to the lockdown all around the world.
