“Male Fantasy” is the sixteenth and final song on Billie Eilish’s 2021 album ‘Happier Than Ever.’ In the song, Billie talks about how the entire entertainment industry is molded to cater to the idea of ‘sex sells’, and the primary consumer of this being the males.
‘Happier Than Ever‘ is the second studio album by Billie Eilish following her massive debut album ‘WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?’ released in 2019. The new album opens up a new era for Billie Eilish as she opens up about her personal life and experiences throughout the tracklist.
A lot of female celebrities have spoken about being molded into a fit a certain ‘image’ that appeals to the mass–or the males in general. Recently Demi Lovato opened up about the insane level of control her management had on her private life, from what she eats to how she looks, to maintain her ‘image.’

“Male Fantasy” Lyrics Meaning and Song Review
In the first verse of the song, Billie Eilish opens up about a similar experience to that of Demi Lovato mentioned above. She reveals that she has to watch out for what she eats to maintain her ‘image’ for viewer pleasure. She is not even an actress who has to partially rely on her looks. She is a singer and so is Demi Lovato.
Billie Eilish turns towards adult videos to burn her stress away. But these videos stress her even more. She knows these actresses put up a show, again, to please the male fantasy. A high percentage of adult videos are catered towards male consumption. Billie has had enough. Therapy might be a way out of all these frustrations.
The secondary theme in the song is that she has a male fantasy for a guy she likes and she cannot get over him.
