The boy wonder and his acoustic guitar are back! We are saddened that Ed Sheeran could not grab an award at iHearRadio Music Awards 2015, but this is even better news. A brand new song by Ed Sheeran–and it’s a ballad too!
Earlier this year (Jan 2015) we got to listen to a snippet of a never-before-heard Ed Sheeran track on a Cougar Town episode. The snippet was extracted from the episode and was a background music to a beautiful scene. We only had the opportunity to listen to a very short clip. But now, we have the full track with us.

How beautiful is it? “I Will Take You Home” is a ballad–just Ed’s voice and the guitar. It doesn’t get any better than that. Ed Sheeran wrote this song for the specific Cougar Town episode.

Ed Sheeran and Cougar Town’s lead actress Courtney Cox are best friends in real life, which we think lead to Ed making this song for the show. Whatever Ed does, it turns to gold. We are totally hooked with this new track.
