Wonder Woman movie is screening worldwide very successfully and Sia has been fortunate enough to produce some music for the movie soundtrack. “To Be Human” is a spirited song about being human, which directly correlates to the main character in the movie Diana Prince played by the gorgeous Gal Gadot.
“To Be Human” also features vocals by the talented singer-song writer Labrinth. Sia tweeted about working with Labrinth.

The chorus of the song written by Rick Nowels and Florence Welch, sums up the theme of the song.
To be human is to love
Even when it gets too much
I’m not ready to give up
The lyrics speak about the character of Wonder Woman who is originally an Amazonian from Themyscira. Basically, she is not a human. So being on Earth and experiencing the human ways has opened up a whole new level of emotions for her. She eventually falls in love too, and sometimes it is all a little too much to handle. The song says when it gets to the toughest fight only she holds on tighter.
The bridge of the song provides some insight too;
Just ’cause I predicted this
Doesn’t make it any easier to live with
And what’s the point of knowin’ it
If you can’t change it? You can’t change, can’t change it
Wonder Woman knew what she was getting into when she chose to reside on Earth. Humans are a race of emotions and greed. She had to adjust and it is a pretty big adjustment.
Sia works her magic yet again in “To Be Human” by making it ever so empowering. Labrinth adds his soothing and pitch perfection to master this song and we are falling in love with it more in each hearing.
