This is the second time Taylor Swift received well wishes from another artist during the ‘Reputation Tour.’ First, Katy Perry sent her an Olive branch with an apology note, ahead of the tour. This time around, at the height of the ‘Reputation Tour’s’ journey, Taylor Swift receives well wishes from an unlikely party.
Taylor Swift took to Facebook a while ago to showcase her latest gift and note from fellow rock band-U2. Ireland native U2 band has been in operation since the late 70’s, which makes it that much more of a huge deal for Taylor Swift who started conquering Country music in 2000’s.
The hall of fame inductee band-U2 apparently sent Taylor a bouquet of dozen red roses with a note that said;
“From your Irish fan club…”
The note had been written by band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen.
Taylor Swift was too excited about this and fangirled so hard over her love and adoration for U2. On the Facebook post she captioned;
“Walked into my dressing room to find roses from U2 and I WAS NOT READY FOR IT.
I LOVE U2
I LOVE IRELAND
LETS DO THIS CROKE PARK!!!”
Croke Park, Dublin is the next two stops of the ‘Reputation Tour’s’ world run. Two concerts will unfold in Croke Park on June 15th and 16th.
It is quite refreshing to see new relationships being made and peace being protected all around the music industry. Even more wonderful to see how welcoming U2 was for the ‘Reputation Tour’ to land in Ireland.
It is not confirmed if U2 would be a featured act on the ‘Reputation Tour.’ However, based on Taylor’s reaction to this unexpected gift, it is unlikely that U2 will perform alongside Taylor at Croke Park.
Either way, we love this harmony among artists, as it unites worlds together.
Taylor Swift Shares Red Roses and Well Wishes from U2
All the best at Croke Park on the ‘Reputation Tour.’
Taylor Swift will be back in Wembley Stadium, UK after the two shows in Ireland. There we expect to see the world’s most talented ginger in action with Taylor Swift.
