Jame Blake Drops “Mile High” Video with Travis Scott Prod by Metro Boomin: Watch

James Blake’s latest hit “Mile High” finally gets a music video. The Metro Boomin produced track features vocals by Travis Scott as well. And the music video is set to take you on a ride along the empty universe.

James Blake released his fourth studio album ‘Assume Form’ in January 2019, and the album has several singles. “Don’t Miss It” and “Lullaby For My Insomniac” are the other two singles, the former being released in December 2018. The album was received well among the critics and the fans and currently ranks at #6 in UK and #21 in US Billboard 200 chart.

The two artists, Blake and Scott, previously collaborated on Travis’s last album ‘Astroworld’ on the song “Stop Trying to Be God.” In the new video, however, James Blake and Travis Scott meet up for coffee and takes a wild ride into what seems like an intoxicated mind of James Blake. And his mind is in the empty space of the universe!

The song seems to be covering several topics from love, sex, heartache, ‘less is more’ lessons, and bibilical references such as ’40 days and 40 nights.’ However, the overarching theme of the song seems to be joining ‘mile high club’ which in slang means to have sex on an airplane.

James Blake will be taking on his North American tour starting from February 18th. The tour will contain 17 stops, including Boston, Chicago, Toronto, NYC and Los Angeles. You can grab tickets for the tour here.
