‘Muddy feet’ is an expression to say that someone is dragging dirt with them. In the context of the song, the dirt is the singer’s partner’s infidelity. And he is busted! There’s a lot of anger and swearing being thrown around in the song.
The song marks the first collaboration between Miley Cyrus and Sia, however, Sia only appears in the outro of the song.
