Ariana Grande Becomes First Female Act to Own Top 3 Spots on Billboard Hot 100

Ariana Grande makes history as her latest album ‘thank u, next’ has spawned some of the most popular singles of her career-and may be in the entire 2019 as well. Her break-up album ‘thank u, next’ had three singles, all of which are now on top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles list.

Billboard announced the news of their top 100 singles for the week of Feb 23, 2019.

Ariana Grande’s three singles were closely followed by former #1 position holders such as “Without Me” by Halsey and “Sicko Mode” by Travis Scott.

Ariana Grande accomplished this historic feet with “7 rings,” “thank u, next” and “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” singles off of the album. She was more than thrilled to hear this news, as she took to social media in tears;

She did not just stop there. The 24-year-old went on to post several more tweets and replied to her fans wishes as well.

The Beatles are the only other act to simultaneously hold the first three positions of the Billboard Hot 100, achieving the honour for five weeks in March and April 1964. They achieved these feet with their singles “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Twist and Shout” and “Do You Want to Know a Secret.” While The Beatles and Ariana are the only two acts to accomplish this, Ariana becomes the first solo act to achieve this milestone.
