Eminem Announces ‘Slim Shady LP’ 20th Anniversary Merch

Eminem was the best selling rapper in 2018 with the release of his controversial album ‘Kamikaze‘ that looked to attack several critical areas in the modern world. However, albums such as ‘Slim Shady LP’ and ‘Marshall Mathers LP2’ are the ones that solidified Eminem or Slim Shady as the legendary rapper he is today.

The ‘Slim Shady LP’ is Eminem’s second studio album released on February 23, 1999. This album marks Eminem’s first collaboration with Dr. Dre after being recruited into Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records by the producer. The album contains the persona of the ‘Slim Shady’ alter-ego created by Eminem in his 1997 release ‘Slim Shady EP.’

‘Slim Shady LP’ is notoriously known for its tracklist consisting of songs such as “My Name Is,” “Guilty Conscience” featuring Dr. Dre, “97 Bonnie & Clyde,” “Just Don’t Give A Fuck,” “Bad Meets Evil” featuring Royce da 5’9″ and many more hits.

The album took off, among fans and on charts alike. The album won a Grammy Award for ‘Best Rap Album,’ it was certified quadraple-platinum by RIAA for selling over 12 million copies worldwide, and is also ranked at #275 on Rolling Stones magazine’s ‘the 500 greatest albums of all time.’

In the wake of 2 decades since this mammoth album release, Eminem and his team are releasing an exciting merchandise pack. Eminem called them “#SSLP20 stuff” so we have no clue what’s in store.

However, we are promised more information on the Slim Shady LP 20th Anniversary pack very shortly, within the week. So, stay tuned and we will bring you the item details and links and prices for the merch.

Just three days ago, Eminem shared his 11 years sobriety token with the caption “11 years – still not afraid.” Massive respect to this legend for trying!
