Watch Jonas Brothers Cover “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi on BBC Live Lounge

The Scottish rising star Lewis Capaldi has his blesses to be counted on his hit single “Someone You Loved” released in 2017. The single also appeared in his debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’ released in May 2019. This serenading ballad was covered by the Jonas Brothers when they appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.

BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge presents major artists performing their hit songs live, usually with minimalistic music. The artist/band also gets the opportunity to perform a cover. For examples; James Bay covering “Delicate” by Taylor Swift, The Killers paying tribute to the late great David Bowie, Harry Styles covering Fleetwood Mac and so on.

Lewis Capaldi himself appeared in the Live Lounge session two weeks back where he performed “Hold Me While You Wait” and “Someone You Loved” from his debut album and covered “2002” by Anne-Marie and Ed Sheeran. Jonas Brothers who appeared in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge last week, tributed Lewis Capaldi by performing his breakthrough hit.

On top of this, Jonas Brothers also performed their reunion single “Sucker” live.

Needless to say that Brothers did an impressive job on the vocals in both of these live performances.

Previously, Nick Jonas has appeared on BBC Live Lounge to perform “Jealous,” “Close” and cover “King” by Years & Years, and “Lush Life” by Zara Larsson. He went solo 3 years back, while the group was dismantled.

Let us hear what you think about Jonas Brothers in the Live Lounge in 2019.
