Whilst Southpaw movie itself is set out to be a highly anticipated movie for the fall, its’ soundtrack is shaping out be quite amazing too. The lyrics for the snippet is as follows. Credits to DirectLyrics for the prompt upload.

But I’m running from it to be standing at the summit
And drum it, how come it wasn’t what I thought it was
Was it, too good to be true?
Had nothing to get it all, but have too much of it
Then lose it again, then I swallow Hallucinogens
Cause if not, where the hell did it go?
Cause here I sit and lose it just then, by the touch of it
Just choosing to sin
Even if it means I’m selling my soul, just to be undisputed again
Do whatever I gotta do this to win, cause I got this motherf*cking cloud over my head
Crown around it, thorns on it
Cracks in it, morons did it
Think I be back (Did ya)
How ’bout that I’m somehow now back to the underground?

It is unfortunate that we don’t get to listen to Gwen’s voice from the “Kings Never Die” track, but it will be quite amazing for sure. It will be interesting to see how their voices match on the song.

NO release date for the track has been revealed. But the Southpaw movie soundtrack will be released on July 24, 2015 along with the movie. You can pre-order the soundtrack via iTunes and Amazon.

Slaughterhouse, 50 Cent, The Weeknd, James Horner and more artists contribute to the Southpaw movie soundtrack.
