The Pussycat Dolls – React (Lyrics Review and Song Meaning)

The superstar girl-group The Pussycat Dolls reunited at the X-Factor UK Celebrity season finale on Saturday (Nov 30). The five girls, Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Carmit Bachar, made this appearance after a decade hiatus from music. During their epic reunion performance, the girl performed a medley of their biggest hits and a teased a brand new song “React.”

The Pussycat Dolls performed a collection of their most popular hits including “Buttons,” “When I Grow Up,” “Don’t Cha” and moved on to tease “React” as their final act. There is no clear indication of this new song will lead to a new album by PCD. However, Nicole Scherzinger already announced that the girls would be on tour in the UK in April 2020.

The new song, as much as what was teased, seems to speak about an affair which is not flowing so smoothly. We hear Nicole’s internal cry for this guy’s attention and affection. But he still holds her heartstrings. Every time the girl tries to leave him, he pulls her back. But it’s not the same as what it was used to be.
