Calvin Harris is just not yet done with his hit single “Feels” from ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1’ album early this year. The original music video released has gathered over 145 million views on YouTube alone and the track is doing very well on Streaming and radio networks. Ahead of 2017 MTV VMAs, Calvin Harris dropped a second music video for “Feels” and this version has a very different feel than it’s predecessor.
Original “Feels” video showed Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean in a fake environment set in a studio and performing the song. The new version has the original artist-Calvin Harris playing an electric guitar. Maybe Calvin really wanted to be in this video that he created a second official video? Whatever the reasons are, this video too captures the hip and good-vibes feeling of the song well.

The new video has a very retro vibe with vibrant colors of lights flashing everywhere and the artists dressed in quite retro looking clothing. Katy Perry wears a frock that sweeps the floor and wear a silvery wig that extends to her hips. Pharrell is at the keyboard with his signature sunglasses and funky t-shirt. Big Sean awkwardly waits for his verse towards the end of the track.
Is Calin Harris trying to rub the breakup with Taylor Swift on her face by recruiting Katy Perry for the track? We will never know.
Katy Perry is hosting this year’s MTV VMAs and releasing this video just before the awards ceremony could mean something. Stay tuned into VMAs to find out.
