It is no surprise that one of our favourite tracks on Camila Cabello’s new album is “Living Proof.” Most likely a dedication to Camila’s current boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, the song takes on her adoration for her lover. Camila goes into a very sweet tone in performing this song, almost like an ASMR, because she feels the love running through her veins.
Camila Cabello first performed this song off of her 2019 album ‘Romance,’ on American Music Awards. On stage was dressed in a white dress accompanied by her backup dancers wearing a similar costume.
After releasing her album ‘Romance‘ on December 6, 2019, Camila was invited on two premiere talk shows to talk about her new album. As such, she was a guest on The Ellen Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. On both occasions, Camila opted to perform “Living Proof” and no performance was without surprises.
On the Ellen Show, Camila Cabello surrounded herself with a choir, as much as the lyrics itself sing. The entire crew wore pink and the choir backed Camila with a perfect harmony of vocals. Camila was rather electric and poured out emotions during this live performance. Watch below.
On the second occasion, Camila Cabello appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform the same song. There, she again resorted to a full pink attire and a theme. However, the surprise came through the massive rose flowers decorated walls in the backdrop.
Several, very well camouflaged, backup dancers emerged out of the rosy wall to assist Camila with her dance choreography. The dancers were covered in a flower design overalls with flowers sticking out. Until they moved to dance, there is no sign of their presence on the stage. Watch below.
Both these performances of “Living Proof” were extremely sexy and beautiful by Camila Cabello. The song is a quite sensuous track, as she sings of caressing her lover’s body with hers. So she did justice to the theme of the song in her choreography.
Camila Cabello is scheduled to perform the song, yet again, on 2019 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball on December 7, 2019.
