The biggest awards ceremony in music, The Grammy Awards, is just around the corner, and the Recording Academy announced their list of nominees for every award category for their 63rd annual Grammy Awards.
Although artists such as Eminem, The Weeknd, and most recently Zayn, have spoken out about the biases in the nomination and awarding process of the ceremony, The Grammys remains to be one of the most recognized and revered awards in music. The Weeknd went on to announce that he will no longer allow his record label to submit his music for Grammys in the future.
The 2021 Grammy Awards was held on March 14, 2021, with special COVID-19 restrictions. The awards night is to be decorated with live performances from artists such as Cardi B, Doja Cat, BTS, Taylor Swift, HAIM, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, Harry Styles, Chris Martin, and the sneak addition Silk Sonic.
Most nominations were received by Beyonce with 9.
