Madonna Veni Vidi Vici Ft. Nas

Madonna Premiers “Veni Vidi Vici” Ft. Nas from ‘Rebel Heart’ Album

How does Madonna even do it? The 56 year-old POP legend has unleashed another single from her upcoming ‘Rebel Heart’ album, which is due March 10, 2015. The latest release is titled “Veni Vidi Vici” and features a rap by Nas. After repeating the song for several times, I still can’t believe Madonna’s voice at her age. It’s still sweet as of a girl of 20.

The new song is named “Veni Vidi Vici”, but the phrase is nowhere to be found in the lyrics. What does Veni Vidi Vici mean? The phrase dates back to Julius Cesar, who said it first back in 47 BC. Veni Vidi Vici (Latin) translates to “I came, I saw, I conquered”, which is repeated several times on the track.

Undoubtedly a chill track from Madonna from ‘Rebel Heart’ album. The depth of lyrics is not outstanding, but it certainly has a catchy beat and a tune. That’s why she is the Queen of POP. Nas certainly could have done a better lyric work on “Veni Vidi Vici” though.
