Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” has been the jam of the first month of 2017 and it doesn’t look like it’s stopping. The song is already sitting at #01 on Billboard Hot 100 chart and has spun so many covers and remixes. Conor Maynard and The Vamps did something quite unusual. He hosted a ‘sing-off’ with The Vamps where each took turns in remaking some of the classic songs from the past decade to the beat of “Shape Of You.” Think it doesn’t work well? Watch it for yourself and see.

The tracklist includes:
- TLC – No Scrubs

- Sia – Cheap Thrills
- Clean Bandit – Rockabye
- Sean Paul – Temperature

- Drake – Controlla
- DJ Snake Ft. MO – Lean On
- Shaggy – Angel
- Shaggy – It Wasn’t Me
- The Vamps Ft. Matoma – All Night
- KKA Ft. Conor Maynard – Are You Sure?
- Bruno Mars – Locked Out of Heaven
- Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars
- Wham! – Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go
- The Killers – Mr. Brightside
- Ed Sheeran – Shape Of You
And they finish it all off with a mash of “I’m In Love With The Coco” by O.T. Genesis-that is not to the beat of “Shape Of You.”
Of course, the two artists sang each others songs “All Night” by Conor and “Are You Sure” by The Vamps.
Conor Maynard also had sing-offs for Bruno Mars’s “24K Magic,” Taylor Swift and Zayn’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.” Take a look at them on Conor Maynard’s YouTube channel.
All-in-all we think the two artists did a great job in remixing some of the classic songs from the past and the present into the music of “Shape Of You.” What do you think about this cover? Leave a note in the comments below.
