Cardi B and Kendrick Lamar Win Big at BET Hip Hop Awards 2017

While Cardi B is continuing on to her third week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Bodak Yellow,” she has won some major accolades at last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards 2017 ceremony. She bagged the coveted ‘Single of the Year’ award, ‘Best New Hip-Hop Artist’ award and ‘Hustler of the Year’ award for “Bodak Yellow” and its amazing journey. Cardi B also performed the song live on the show.

The next coveted award ‘Album of the Year’ was won by Kendrick Lamar for ‘DAMN,’ rightly so. He also won ‘Best Hip Hop Video’ award for “Humble.” Another great award K.Dot managed to easily grab was ‘Lyricist of the Year’ for his amazing lyrical work in almost all songs.
