The space XXXTentacion left in the industry has still not been filled, and it will not likely be filled as his posthumous songs keep on releasing. The latest being the music video for “Arms Around You” collaboration with Lil Pump, Maluma and Swae Lee. We see sketches of X throughout the music video, while other artists are featured on it.
XXXTentacion was fatally shot dead in Florida in June 2018. Since then, songs such as “Falling Down,” “Bad!” and “Moonlight” have been released under X’s mother’s approval. X also recently won the award for ‘Best Soul/R&B Album’ at American Music Awards 2018, which his mother accepted on his behalf.
“Arms Around You” single was initially released as a homage to late XXXTentacion by Lil Pump. The song is expected to be a part of X’s upcoming album ‘skins‘ to be released in December 2018.

The James Larese-directed music video features many sketches, pictures and video snippets of late XXXTentacion, and follows a collage theme throughout. Lil Pump, Maluma and Swae Lee also appear in the video for their verses. However, it is clear that the prominence is on X.
X will live forever in our hearts through his music. We are eagerly waiting for the upcoming ‘skins’ album.
