BLACKPINK Announces “Kill This Love” New Single and EP Out in April

The all-girl K-Pop supergroup has some new and exciting news to share with their global fan base. Recently, Blackpink set another record as the first K-Pop group to reach 20 million subscribers on YouTube and with the announcement of a new single “Kill This Love,” the fanbase can rejoice.

The K-Pop supergroup shared on Twitter that they will be releasing a new single titled “Kill This Love” on April 5, 2019. The YG Family group also shared a teaser poster with Lisa on the cover with the song title in black on a red background.

YG Family also announced that this new single will be much more fierce than the group’s last hit “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” The song is assured to be released with a dance-tastic music video as the press released confirmed that “The choreography of the four black choreographers is expected to be more dynamic than the choreography of any song that Black Pink has introduced and will meet the expectation and eye level of fans around the world.”

Alongside this exciting news, Blackpink also announced that their latest EP, also titled ‘Kill This Love’ is in the making. This is their first album project since the highly successful ‘Squre Up’ debut EP released in June 2018.

The upcoming EP will also be the K-Pop group’s first project with Interscope Records of Universal Music Group, after signing with the label in late 2018.

“Kill This Love” single will drop in time for Blackpink’s appearance at Coachella Valley Festival of Music on 12th and 19th of April. We might even hear new music premiered live at the music festival?
